Since 2023, Team Webb Norden Boston Marathon runners have raised over $300,000 to support children and families navigating trauma.

Each year, our team shows up not just to run 26.2 miles, but to ensure that no child has to face trauma alone.

Through the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program, the B.A.A. provides invitational entries to the Boston Marathon to select non-profit organizations. Non-profit organizations use these entries to recruit athletes who pledge to raise funds for their cause. For selection into the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program, the B.A.A. greatly values organizations that focus on building healthy communities.

The Webb Norden Foundation was established in honor of the 10-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings, making the Boston Marathon deeply personal to our mission and community.

Each year, our Boston Marathon team is made up of runners who share a meaningful connection to our cause and a commitment to carrying it forward. We are honored to have them cross the finish line not only as athletes, but as advocates raising critical funds and awareness.

Since 2023, these teams have made a powerful impact — raising over $40,000 in 2023 and more than $90,000 in both 2024 and 2025 to support children and families navigating trauma. Through their dedication, our runners continue to expand awareness, strengthen community, and help ensure that no child has to face trauma alone.
